Heidi, my “contact person,” otherwise known as my liaison came over for coffee toady. In America I only had coffee on rare occasions, but now it seems that I am drinking 2-3 times a week (I also may or may not be having cider a couple times a week as well). We ate a traditional Finnish sweet bun called Pulla while Sari, Heidi and I talked about me living here.
So far I have had every few, if any, concerns. I have had some worries, though, about my blog. At first I was writing it as a way for people back home to know what I am doing, and to act as a sort of public diary I can look back at when I’m old and gray. Now, though, part of me is worried that writing this blog will mean that people will know enough about my life that they will have no reason to contact me. I want to let everyone who is reading this, (and for all I know there are only like three of you), know that I would love to hear from you, and if you ever have any questions about me or Finland, or have any suggestions for my blog/ideas about what to do in Finland, just let me know.
Good news! Although I’m still super tired all the time, my sickness is finally starting to go away.
