Well here it is. My flight home. I can’t believe how fast it has gone… It seems like just last week I was on a plane coming to Finland. 10 months now I have spent living in Finland, learning about Finns, and myself, and others. I have grown so much than I ever thought possible. My experience of leaving is slightly different than others, since I know that I am coming back in only two weeks to go to France with my amazing Finnish boyfriend and his family. Still though, I have done my fair share of crying over the thought that this part of my life is over and done with. Undoubtably this year of my life has been one of, if not the best year so far. Exchange years change you. I believe that this year has made me a better, more well rounded and certainly more accepting person.
