Orientation Day II and The Secret Life of Pets

Very few people slept well last night, some never even made it to their beds. There were doors slamming all night and lights being turned on and off, and partying going on. We all sat around and talked and shared music tastes and listened to different kinds of music. It was so cool to be able to meet all these people from around the world. There were around 25 Helsinki-Espoo exchange students, and all of them offered unique talents and experiences to the group. I can’t wait to hang out with all of them again. While we were there we learned a lot about each other and it was really nice to talk to people who are going through the same thing you are. Some games that we played include, “Big Fat Pony,” where we danced in a circle and sang a silly song, “Yeehaw,” “Trumps Wall,” “Morning Ritual,” and a couple others. This was an amazing experience and it was really nice to be able to talk about everything that has happened so far in my exchange. The place that we were was on a little island a couple meters from the main shore. It was really beautiful and I am including some cheesy pictures of the scenery. After it ended at 4, I got another ride home and immediately Sari, Venla and I went and got on a train to Helsinki so we could go to the movies. I saw “The Secret Life of Pets,”… in Finnish… with Venla. It was really good, or at least, it seemed good. I would like sometime to see it in English so I could understand it more.
