Finnish Class

Finnish class today! Other than that I was very lazy all day, reading and watching Netflix. All of my friends are busy with exams this week, but since I already finished mine I have the week off school. In class, now that we have some of the basics down, we are actually starting to learn things! I am getting excited, even though I missed a day last week and I’m a little behind on how to do the negative tense. I will catch up. We are able to speak some simple sentences and next class on Wednesday we are learning colors. We already know days of the week, I have numbers and the Finnish alphabet down pat, and we are memorizing some of the more important verbs such as,

Olla = To be

Puhua = To speak

Asua = To live

And of course we know all of the important, “who, what, where, when and why,” words... It is coming along, slowly but surely. Also here is a random picture of Mori and I acting dramatic.
