I had an exam… today… On a Saturday. It was at 8:20 in the morning, and it actually wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Well, the exam was bad, but the whole Saturday thing wasn't too bad. I had to be there until 10:30, even though I had hit a rut at about 9:30 and couldn't answer anymore questions. Then after that I went to the library and got two new books. Yay! I am reading a lot more now, just like I used to and I am loving it. Once I checked out the books I walked home and ate lunch.
Sari, Venla and I then headed into Helsinki for a girls night. First we stopped at Iso Omena and shopped at some clothing stores, Venla and I both bought a shirt and Sari got a coat, and then we stopped by a different store to check out a cheerleading store (because Venla just joined a cheer squad.) While we were there two teams did routines and they were just like the cheer squad from the TV show Glee. Not proud that I know that, but they were really incredible. We stopped at a Finland souvenir shop so that I could pick out a few things for people back at home. I’ve been collecting stuff and hopefully I will get it sent out by Christmas!! Once we finally made it into Helsinki we got ice cream and shopped some more. That night when we got home I made my world famous carrot cake for the family and then we all went to sleep. It felt like a whole weekend worth of stuff crammed into one day.
