Technically, yesterday was All Saints day, but I thought I would write about it today instead. In Finland, they celebrate it on November 5th, and it is a much bigger deal than it is in the States. It is a day to celebrate loved ones who died that year, or really loved ones that have ever died. People light candles on their doorsteps and on the graves, and it creates a very beautiful sight to see. I went to a choir concert a the church commemorating all of the people that had died. It was very bittersweet, there was a lot of crying, but I think they enjoyed our music.
