Exciting Night with Food and Friends

My last exam was today, which sucked because it is a SATURDAY :(. After that I went home and tried to make a pumpkin pie. I say “tried” for several reasons, the first being that I have never made one before. The second being that the ingredients that I found are super weird. (The pumpkin is wrong and that is the main ingredient in a pumpkin pie so… yeah. After I made it I went to my friend Cheyenne’s apartment for a Thanksgiving dinner. I met Cheyenne in Finnish class. She was originally born in Finland, but her family moved to the US when she was very little. She came back to Finland to go to college. The meal was AMAZING. Her Finnish family was really enthusiastic about cooking it, it was their first time. They made the turkey and it was STUNNING. We had a good time. Unfortunately I had to duck out after a couple hours and go to Helsinki. There I met some of my junior friends. We were having a birthday party for Jenna. We met at Amarillo and the food was AMAZING. That was my second dinner of the night, so at that point I was ridiculously stuffed. Then after that we wandered around in the rain looking at the beautiful Christmas lights that Helsinki puts up every year. The only thing that would have made it better was if it had been snowing instead of raining. I got home at around one, fat and happy.
