Today began the first day of the new term. My classes are ridiculously easy. I have two english classes, two art classes and a dance class. The dance class is for the Vanhojen Tanssit. It is the Finnish equivalent of prom, except it isn't just a free for all. They have traditional choreographed line dances that we learn, and then we perform in front of our family and friends. Then of course there is an after party. The students choose partners up to a year before hand, so it has taken a long time for me to find one, but luckily there are more boys than girls in our school, so I found
one. His name is Beni. The dance takes place in late February, so we have a lot to learn before that.
